Fall is quickly approaching and although Summer has still got a few more weeks, it won’t stop me daydreaming about crunchy leaves and hot apple cider. The general rule of thumb I live by when preparing to start the holiday decorating is to wait until September 1st, but with the stores busting out all the holiday decor already I figured the planning (and buying) could start now. I’m so excited that for the first time ever I have a porch that can be decorated, and I love that it’s such a fun way to welcome visitors to your home. I spent some time on good ole Pinterest to get some inspiration for some fall porch decorating ideas and I’ve rounded up some of my favorites below.

7. Metallic Neutrals
If typical reds and oranges aren’t your thing, you will love this neutral themed porch with pops of metallics. The white pumpkins really bring in the harvest feel and the dried cornstalks add that perfect bit of texture. Pack with other textures like wooden candle holders you’ve got a truly fab porch.

8. Bright & Simple
Pops of color and simple traditional pumpkins make this porch stand out from the rest. We love the contrasting door and wall paint, but if you have a more traditional palette, you can still mimic this design with some chipper marigold colored flowers, lots of gourds and a cozy chair and blanket.
